I watched the LPGA last night, it was quite interesting for lots of reasons.
Liking the Troon test for the players and really liking the accent of the Scottish lass Iona Stephen on the mic.
The last 3 weeks have been sensational on the women’s tour. Preferring it to the men’s tours at the moment
Lexi cheating again, she’s such a dirty moll.
Watched young Stephanie play up here in the Aus Am. She hits her iron sweet as!
I see.
Does she have the same coach as Fatrick?
Once you go yellow, you will never go back
That's an awful look.
Most entertaining thing that’s happened in women’s golf all year
Forum needs more banter.

I can't see a problem and it seems neither can the R&A.
There were lots of non rules related problems playing the course in those conditions though. I heard Ken Brown comparing the conditions to the last round at Muirfield in 92, when Faldo shot par to win. Certainly the women made it look very difficult.
For me though, it was very interesting golf for two reasons. Firstly, the golf itself and the course. It was so noticeable that the lines of play, and the options available varied so much from one spot to another. Players 10 feet apart had completely different chip shots depending on whether they had a flat approach, a bunker affected the approach, or a swale or hump in the green. It seems designers simply can't create that sort of variety. it's either naturally occurring, or it isn't. I loved it.
The other reason is that Covid prevented me from being there, because I was scheduled to go. In hindsight, this was a good thing, because watching golf in such conditions isn't much fun. For me, the slightly good news is that the next two Women's Opens are scheduled for Carnoustie and Muirfield. I'm definitely trying to attend one of those.
As to the golf, amazingly enough Lydia Ko might be best placed of the big names to win. You'd think such conditions wouldn't suit her at all.
"There are 50 things to remember in the golf swing. Trouble is that I can only remember 49 of them" - Bob Hope.
If it's windy again then Minjee Lee has a great ball flight for the wind. She turns it over a little bit as her stock shot. It's a negative on the softer American courses. Whether she believes in herself is the question. I feel if she can get that first major she'll get a few and probably on the tougher courses.
First standbag using major winner?
Jones bag with 10 clubs next

So she tried to cheat and failed, due to the stubborn grass not bending.
I dont think there is a penalty for trying to cheat
I would of just picked it up and thrown back onto the fairway. Is that wrong?
Once you go yellow, you will never go back
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!
