Robe - Millicent - Lucindale - Bordertown
Lucindale looks to have cheap accom near the course (for those that are on a budget)- The Lucindale Hotel offers basic accommodation. Ph 08 8766 2223
- Hammersmith Apartments are central in the town Ph: 08 8766 2118 Mob: 0438 874 988
- Park Drive Cottage in the town. B&B available Mob:0407 390 855
- ‘Holmwood’ is hosted B&B accommodation at Avenue Range 19km west of Lucindale. Mob: 0418 853 635
- Andinda Cottages & CabinsMob: 0429 861 551
- Lucindale Country Club Camping Ground offers powered and un-powered sites, hot showers and toilets. Ph 08 87667028
For me Gambie is a little too far, plus I would be too tempted to shoot through to Fairy
If we are pressed for time leave out Bordertown and save it for a future Nhill / pinball / Keith trip

I'm also happy with a 3 day trip, minus the spoon with TC (sorry mate, not my type). I am partial to a good beard though.
Not sure about 2 rounds in the one day, but happy to give it a crack. Just knowing how I felt after 18 at Blackwood I dare say my game would revert to shank city on the 2nd round... hmm, thinking about that, it really won't be much different to round 1 anyway!
RE courses I'm happy to be a sheep and follow the crowd. Being such a beginner I'm just keen to play as many different types as possible.

National Lampoons Golfing Vacation.
If the accommodation has cooking facilities I’m happy to bring the fancy knives and get some local produce

Two days of golf would be my knee limit I reckon! On a Friday I finish work at 2pm so could head up mid-afternoon and meet you guys up there if you travel for a game on the Friday.

I reckon we play Lucindale Friday arvo
Stay overnight in Millicent - plenty of good/cheap accommodation options
Millicent GC - local comp Sat morning, Sat arvo either a 9 hole bash (back 9 is better from memory) or get hammered^ in the clubhouse with the locals (^beer, not ram ranch)
overnight again in Millicent
Robe GC
Potentially then a quickie* (*golf, no homo sexytime) round either Keith or Bordertown if time and daylight permits

Those dates are fine by me.
In order to go at all I have to drag the anti fun Police along aka The Minister of War and Finance and little Miss Minister. Sorry for the spoiler.

I will therefore let you arrange your own accommodation then...
Ok, who else is in? I have a car with a spare seat or two and a house with a couple of spare bedrooms for rent/share

all good, we can put you in pencil, Millicent has plenty of accommodation options so you should have no problem securing a place to stay closer to the date

There might not be as many close to date as we think. The Minister has already been looking at accommodation in May / June. Having said that there may be plenty but not many to her majesties standard. I just need a bed to sleep in I don't give a crap about everything else it has or doesn't have that we never use any way .
So everyone can plan and book any accommodation in plenty of time we shall now lock it in for May 22,23,24.
I will edit the title and the first post to reflect this. Sh!t just got real.

It'll take an heroic effort for me to get a leave pass for this, but I'll give it a go. If you don't hear from me in the next few days, it was nice knowing you all.

I have just reserved a 3 bedroom / 5 bed place so have 1 x private and 1 x share room available (for those that like to spoon), will work out cheap and is the best house on airbnb in the area

I think Higher...cough cough...combe uses the word Country Club to describe themselves. Just sayin.
I've played Lucindale years ago. Shouldn't really mention the other place in the same breath.
