Lucky Maleny is on a big freaking mountain then, otherwise that place would be underwater!

Plenty of rain down here too over the last few days, at Oatlands yesterday the cups were beginning to fill with water as we finished our round.

Just heard on the radio that rumours that the NRL games here in Sydney were under threat from grounds were going to be closed. They rang all the clubs concerned and only Cronulla said that the ground was very wet but the game would go ahead. All others said it was going to be slow going but would still go ahead.

Racing at Randwick has been cancelled, it would have been the first event there since it was closed for World Youth Day.

Jarro, that was how heavy it was at time when Mike & I played yesterday. My bag is still drying off in the garage.

I played yesterday in the hinterland NSW - we finished in pouring rain and about 0 degrees with a 30kmh wind. Colder than any round I have played in Canberra this year!!!

Any of you Beenleigh or Loganites should be getting whooped pretty shortly.

Actually, it looks like it is going straight for the CBD and then on to the Bayside area.

I hope it takes its usual diversion to the north

Well, as usual it seems to have dispursed just before reaching me. I would love to know what is so special about the topography of the bayside area that seems to fizzle out most storms coming from the west.
