Anyone got a figure for how much rain has fallen in the Brisbane catchment areas in the last few days ?

I'd hate to think all this wet we've had hasn't reached the dams

Media says it missed the major catchment areas, go to the Sunwater Website and see what the level readings have been.

They are talking about the catchments being full if the 200 mm falls in them. We had 95 mm last night. According to http://www.seqwater.com.au/newsite/i...ate=2008-11-19 there is still a way to go.

Stop exaggerating Chappy. We've had a good 3-4mm this month so far.

I can't recall the last time we had any decent rain. I think it was about 4 months ago, but nothing decent of late.

Might go and polish the car, that always seems to do the trick

We had a huge downpour up here today. Flash flooding all 'round town. Our drainage guys reckon we had about 2 inches in an hour to achieve the water levels we did.

Has threatened to pour all day here, but only got light showers at best. Maybe 2mm at best.

Kevin Mitchell was on the Big Sports Breakfast this morning. He said that a filthy storm went through at about 1am and tore up the covers. The pitch is fine, but the surrounding pitches are mushy.

Big doubts on the match starting on time. $3.85 on the draw looks very appealing.
    Forum needs more banter.

Heard that too, he did not seem too confident. I got the impression that no play before lunch is going to be had.

The 'Gabba drains well, no problem there, so we should get play underway on time (even after another pearler of a storm last night)
