Just curious, anyone else had issues with Avon grips?

Anyone have a good source for cheap Golf Pride Tour Velvet Mids or Jumbos?
eBay is $125 for 13 Jumbos

Got std size Golf Pride Tour Velvet after work.
Put it on 10mins ago with same tape and spray as failed Chamois grip and its stuck like a turd to a blanket already.

Too much frigging, the bit just spins in the screw head and driver is stuck on 7.5U, sick of raping worms, any simple suggestions on how to get it out and where to get a new screw?

Thanks Chappy, im playing at 9am saturday second round of the winter cup... so are you home tonight? Mizuno captain....think using the bit in a drill may have been the culprit.

@ solarbear...no they are purely cosmetic (but your clubs look fugly without them), bunnings, the parfix maxi strenghth 24 hour epoxy works fine and at about 1/3 the cost of Araldite. The 5 minute stuff works fine with irons but doesnt generally work that well for glueing on driver tips....

Epoxy question...is there any real difference between these:
    http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=EPX1
    http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp...1001_A_cn_E_33
    http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp...1002_A_cn_E_33
    http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp...1003_A_cn_E_33

Apart from the price? thinking that $ 5.99 as opposed to 7.99 or 98.79, the top one is calling me unless it is crap. Does the gun (http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp...1005_A_cn_E_33) work with the top one? - I have one.

    Thanks,
    -PJ

The top one is 24hr set and the others have quicker set times. The last one has a lower shear strength than the others.

This is the one I use and highly recommend:
    http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_TSP4

You can handle the club after 60minutes, and hit it after 90, but it still stays liquid long enough to do 4 clubs at a time.

Ask BITS how string the bond was in the toe sweeps. Heat gun wont budge, but come apart easy with the torch.
