G400 Stretch Fairway Wood with Tour 65 shaft.
Won the comp on the weekend, love doing that in a tier 2 club ($100 voucher) so went for a strong 3 wood as they are hard to find on the second hand market in a good specification
Plan is to hit this club about the same distance as Ferrins driver, considering my last two scoring rounds have been sub 80 off the stick hopefully single figures will come sooner rather than later
I feel for you.
Cleveland RTX-3 52/58° wedges
Cobra Kai - Never Die
Speedzone Big Tour Fairway Wood (13.5 degree)
Other Cobra clubs in the bag:
MIM Wedge (55 deg) or King Black (56 deg) if it's a hot day (no glare)
King Tour Wedge (58 deg low bounce with a fat arse)
Cobra are really underrated in wedges, I cannot find a wedge that spins more
deep 3 woods are becoming a rare species now, mainly because they are hard to master off the deck. I have an XHot 3 deep that I used occasionally but it was a harder club to master and to be frank I didn't have the skill set to get the most out of it
5 years on, playing and practising regularly and it has about a 90% fairway hit rate; on a tight parkland course with fast running fairways. Hence the desire to invest in a modern version of the same wood
Particularly at your ability level I strongly recommend you try one.
Some Wilson D7 forged irons have been ordered for my new Gumby body and golf swing
If it aint for sale the right price has just not been offered
Lack of Pokey makes Gumby weak.

Was messaging a guy on the first tee today, had a couple wobbly 3jabs and crap putts.
Bought it straight after the round finished
A dozen Callaway supersoft balls. A mate from my social club brought them along for $20, and I'd been intending to try them so I took him up on it. I was impressed with how they went for my skill level, nice and straight shots, reasonable distance and good spin around the greens. Will stick with them for the foreseeable future I reckon.
How much sh^t has to hit the fan before we stop buying golf gear?😀
