Man, we are a hick city aren't we?!?

Veefore,
You're spot on about the pitch marks on the greens at Harty. They're out of control! There's a lot of them that have been repaired incorrectly which is making the greens look terrible! I can't believe the difference between two weeks ago and today! It's disgraceful.
I spoke to the captain about it today and I think we will be discussing it at the next match meeting. I am hoping that we can get something underway, even if it is just a note on the scorecards before they are handed out ASAP.
They're all short, so I'm guessing a lot of guys don't spin it and they're balls are 10m ahead of the plug. But the way they're being repaired is a joke!
Greens are being cored soon so expect the rest of the membership to just give up fixing them completely for a while.
When's the core due? We do twice a year I'm guessing.
I can't play for the next three weekends so it must be right after that when I come back to play.
Around the 15th of March I think.
I was bored so I just worked out JC's USGA handicap. From a GA 4.0 he would go to 2.4 if the switch was today.
I thought he'd have gone the other way because his current handicap is against traditionally high CCRs.
The ACR's were also quite high. From memory there were a couple of 76 ACR's there.
Does KB have the highest ACR's in Perth?
I can't think of a course that would be higher.
It will certainly make it interesting to see what sort of a slope rating it gets.
I am expecting around the middle-of-the-road 113 mark for Hartfield though everyone else I speak to thinks it will be higher. I would be expecting something in the high 130's to low 140's for KB.
edit: I just checked. It looks like there were only 3 days where the CCR wasn't lower than the ACR.

I'm thinking around 113 as well for HF. Surely KB will be the hardest course in Perth. Although without an extreme weather policy, it'll be interesting when the wind gets up. Does the weather have anything to do with slope ratings?
KB's slope rating -
calm day - 113
seabreeze at full anger - off the scale man!
So based on that OMR...
...KB on a calm day will be about the same as Hartfield???
Looks like my course (WAGC) is getting rated at the end of March
You're in big trouble though, pal. I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast!
how did you find that out bergsey?
word of mouth or is there a hit list of sorts?

I made peace with Zig. Don't group me with the other heathens.
Hartfield was rated last Monday. The Vice Captain was there and hopefully will give a report on Tuesday at the Match Committee meeting.
No worries. I'm really curious myself.
