    33 points in a rather stiff breeze this morning. Highlights were birdies on both par 5's I don't get a shot on. I did nail a 3W downwind to front of the 3rd green and almost put the chip in for an eagle, tap in bird.

    Good day today trying out the new Evnroll ER5 and the new ProV1 balls. Sinking more 2M putts does help alot. 39/42 strokes for 43 points off 16 hdcp. Wiped 1 hole though but happy with the result.

    Hope i can replicate it tomorrow at the Hartfield summer cup

    27 points yesterday, started to get the big dog going a little straighter and longer, chipped and putted like a muppet. My short game cost me, conservatively, 12 shots yesterday. I'm just lost when I get close to or on the green at the moment

    Well, the lightning didn't strike twice for Sunday's Summer Cup;
    A few things didn't help with my preparation:
    - Lack of sleep
    - Didnt properly hydrate myself the day before (Did that for Saturday, and was really fresh for the day)
    - Had a few too many drinks on Saturday night

    Wiping the first 2 holes did not help the scoring; Driving was again not consistent, while my short irons kept pulling left. No magic moment with my chipping compare to Saturday, but my long irons was good, and the putting was the one that saved the day;

    Finished the day with 47/44 for 31 points

    Damage to my handicap: GA 13.3 down to 11.9 as my new low point

    I shot 99 for both of my rounds this week.

    I also lost both of my bets on the horses.

    Thursday AM, 16 points around the front of Tasmania GC straight off the plane.
    Thursday PM - chop chop chop for 22 around Kingston Beach, too many beers, no food.
    Friday PM - 33 around Royal Hobart.
    Saturday PM - 10/21 at Lost Farm. 3 birdies in 5 holes was the hightlight.
    Sunday AM - 16/12 at Barnbougle Dunes.
    Sunday PM - didn't keep score but had a ripping arvo playing Barney, lost the match to Courty 4/2, but played pure #linksy golf. Probably had 28 to 30 points. Highlight was putting from 115m short on 18 to the front fringe. The Blue tees change the course so much!
    Monday AM - Launceston. I couldn't move. Everything hurt, and my elbow was blown up. 16 weary points.... I didn't care.

    Tuesday- 28pts @ Kingston Heath with persimmons

    Wednesday- 101 @ Ratho Farm with hickories and Gutta Percha balls

    Thursday AM- Didn’t keep score, maybe 4-5 over (17/18 pts)

    Thursday PM- 35pts @ Kingston Beach

    Friday- 28pts @ Royal Hobart, lost 3&2 in the UCW

    Saturday- 35pts @ Lost Farm (so moist)

    Sunday AM- 28pts @ Barny Dunes (super moist)

    Sunday PM- ~28pts @ Barny Dunes (extremely moist) and lost a match with Joe 4/3

    Monday- 25pts @ Launceston GC

    While the golf was a bit up and down score wise there were patches of awesomeness offset with some average ballstriking. Putted as well as I ever have over a week like that but just couldn’t get the lines right. I think overall I hit the hole 20-30 times over the 9 rounds I played. If anyone knows how to grow bent grass in FNQ please let me know.

    Needless to say it was an awesome week of golf and I can’t wait for 2020 to be announced. I’m already thinking of another trip to Barny.

    Didn’t keep score for the Dunes arvo round but it was the most enjoyable round I’ve ever played in my life and my favorite part of the whole trip.

    Everything tends to be awesome when you have massive wood.....

    Right on the limit but got it through. Don’t forget I brought a different trophy down with me to swap for the new one.

    Well done mate. Looks like you are able to use them to their full potential better than me. Glad they’ve obviously gone to a good home.
