I think when we hit somewhere in the high 80s double we will get our FREEDOMS back. It is l a balancing act isn't it, how many dead old, infirm and some healthy ppl do we want on our hands. Not sure there is a good answer, but when we've been drone striking the bejesus out of middle eastern types maybe we are too precious. But i do love my grandma.

Due to the rescheduling of club champs after lockdowns, the field strength is down significantly with a heap of low markers unable to play the revised dates.

So the club has changed the field to even the three grades up.

    In the past, A was up to 11, B 12-18, C 19+.
    Last year A went out to 12, B 13-18, C 19+

After reviewing the field this year, A Grade has been pushed out to 13, so a bunch of known handicap farmers have found themselves at the bottom of A Grade. C Grade also now starts at 20, so the group that slipped from 17 to 19..... are all B Graders again.

There were a few discontented murmurs last night when the fields went up!

its awesome that seemingly all the media are not trashing Paine, but litter their articles with happy photos of Paine and his wife. Seriously why do these cretins have to drag his wife into it.

Warnie would have been an exceptional captain if he could’ve learned to leave his mobile phone alone.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Except a lot of players couldn’t stand the shit he brought the game. Tactically yes good, ability to lead a team, we will never know.

If Warnie had a vice like Hussey who was allowed to pull him into line on occasion he would have thrived

Because Warne would allow that to happen? I was a big Warne fan, one of the 3 or 4 most influential cricketers I have seen play, but this shit about him being the best never captain is getting out of hand. 1) always easier to stand out tactically for short periods, but do those tactics stack up long term?2) besides his phone, there were drug issues, cheating issues etc. 3) a lot of players never thought he had their back, could he have hit the best out of fringe players like Waugh seemed too?
