    Yeh I certainly do.
Im sick of all these overpaid sports people playing the mental health/political/racist cards....
Sure there’s cases for and against but pull your heads in.
Shes apparently the highest paid sportswoman now, and a role model to not just younger women but the Asian population.
    Grow up.
Dont get me started on Lebron et al....
Just my opinion, like assholes everyone has one...

Venus Williams made the best statement when asked about it.

FWIW I don’t necessarily think she played the card but broadcasters and media pay the bills. I’m not sure how many people get to tell their employer they don’t want to do the half of what makes them money then expect the same pay cheque.

Broadcasts pay the bills. She was still playing the actual games so they aren’t affected. Nobody cares about the post match press conference and the media aren’t her employer. I’m with her although she should’ve just pulled a Marshawn Lynch and done the press conferences but answered every question with ‘I’m just here so I won’t get fined’.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Yeah, I feel I'm in a funny position with regards to Osaka and the media. As someone with a lot of mental health issues, and a long family history of it, I do feel for her! But at the same time, none of this was a mystery to her, and she certainly has the wealth to be able to take breaks for her mental health whenever she wants, and today there isn't a stigma for needing to do that.

But at the same time, I kinda feel about it like I do with celebrities who complain about the paparazzi. You could have just become an accountant? A choice was made to follow a career path that included certain things if you reach a certain level. The media rarely wants to take photos of an accountant, or ask them probing questions.

First Osaka pulling the Pin over no media interviews then the Fed pulling the pin to save himself for Wimbledon.
    WTF is going on?
Give it your all and do what's required or don't enter the f***ing tournament jmho.

Look, of probably give them the benefit of the doubt! Sure, Fed shouldn't have started off he didn't think he could go the distance, bit maybe these niggles have risen up? Osaka, doubt she expected to be fined for not doing the media, and made a decision for her health after that?
I do feel for those that missed a chance to play, and for those that lost to them who might have progressed further.

The who's who of women's tennis.

The positive is that there will be yet another Grand Slam added to the long list of different winners recently, unlike the same same for the men. Twelve in the last five years since Serena's dominance ended.

Tennis on Grass........courts is so much better to watch.
Turn the volume down to get rid of the grunting also makes it better.

Channel Nine are trying so hard to get us to subscribe to Stan that they put the top bloke matchup of Zverev vs Sandgren on last night.

Kyrgios playing tonight in mixed doubles with Venus Williams. That should be a blast!

Barty has no opponent in top 50 to the semi finals and then no player in top 20 to the final.
This is a walk in the park like when Marion Bartoli won.

What rankings list are you looking at, although they don't seem to mean much in women's tennis.

Sorry Andy was going off the hottest chicks on tour list.

Missed that Czech chick that won the French.

Actually, while I am technically correct, it was accidental. I didn't realise that all of the big seeds were in the other half of the draw, until just now, so your point is taken.

Hopefully makes it all the way through, while Sabalenka and Swiatek beat up on each other in the other semi.

Barty played really solid, clinical in the first set, bit of a wobble in parts of the second, then steadied for a great win.
