Apart from a few loose drives early, he was solid and his short game was amazing when he missed a green.

I don't know who I like for the masters... I don't think DJ will go back-to-back. Spieth could be up there if he can keep is driver in the fairway. Cam Smith probably the pick of the Aussies.

He does. Good call. So do Justin Rose and Lee Westwood. Paul Casey is always somewhere near the lead after two rounds, but fades away.

Other oddities that come to my mind are that Fred Couples and Bernhard Langer always make the cut, and Matt Kucher plays a great final round to sneak into the top 10 after never being in contention.

I really have no idea who will win, but for the record I'll go safe with DJ, and wild with Hideki Matsuyama. Patrick Reed is always worth a bet, just to irritate the haters.

Ever since Woods faded away, seems the 'favourites' hardly win majors. We have had about 15 years of one hit wonders with only the odd one out.

Even DJ has only won 2 majors.

I think the most likely winner will be amongst the emerging players like Champ, Hatton, Schauflerr, Wolf, Berger et al

    88. IAN WOOSNAM
Age: 63 World Ranking: N/A Masters appearances: 31
    Best Masters finish: Win, 1991
Missed the cut in eight straight Masters before saying that the 2016 edition would be his last. But there he was, on the first tee again on the second Thursday in April 2017. Missed the cut in the next three before saying the 2019 edition would be his last. This time, he honored his word … for one year, sitting out last November before vowing to return this year after a back procedure has him feeling better. No judgments here—if we had a lifetime exemption to play the Masters, we’d have a hard time quitting, too.

Jimmy Walker is in there at 528 in the world rankings.

    Will be his last appearance.

Jackie Burke isnt playing this year apparently. When he won the Masters, he hit driver then 9 iron into a par 3 (front 9). course might be getting a bit long for him now.

He gets an exemption after winning the 2016 PGA. He contracted a weird disease in 2017 and has been ****ed up ever since. He's only 42, so maybe if he gets healthy his golf may improve.

Sergio's putting is a little too scratchy at the moment. Based on the odds I have read^ my (fake) betts would be on:

    Patrick Reed
    Lee Westwood
    Cameron Smith as an underdog

Conditions will be firm this week, I can't see that suiting the likes of DJ, Bryson etc.

While I'd love to see Rory get up, I agree with those picks. JT and Spieth are probably the best of the "favourites".

He should not be playing, the potential damage to his recovering leg could be devastating on an undulating course such as AN

Obviously I’m not as intimately aware of his situation as some and this will do nothing but highlight my ignorance but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say I’m happy for he and whoever is treating him to make that decision.
