    Nice work Joe.

    Who is in your division?

I'll be captaining our Divy 2 side this year. We have a decent squad, but in reality we need one more player. With the recent form of a few on the team (myself included), we might be in trouble early!

    Playing B Handicap in Canberra.

We have A Grade Div 1, Div 2, B Scratch (for those with a GA higher than 10) and B Handicap, which is a run what ya brung bracket.

Bye week 1, I gave 0 shots week 2 to win 3/2, then gave 7 shots last week and won 1 up.

We are equal top of the ladder with a game in hand, with 3 weeks to go.

Your team photo is still in the locker room mate! It was a great season for the boys after being promoted for winning Div 2 last year, also had no home games this season either..

    Bloody great feeling!

It was nothing too flashy, it was all pars in for the last 5, however it was very windy. I won 14, 15 and 18. On 19 I hit two great shots, 3W, knock down wedge to about 8ft.

My opponent it a bad 2nd into the trees and made a mess of it and conceded in the end. Course was Charlestown GC.

And looks like WA pennants is dead again.... looks like a few clubs are financially strapped and closing the course for a weekend might not be feasible for them.

    Pity.... but understandable.

Look forward to next year then

It was actually quite a few of the bigger private clubs that rejected the offer to play.

After a 4 month hiatus, the final round of home and away is on tomorrow.

We win one of the 6 matches and we finish top of our half of the draw.

If not, we finish 2nd. It doesn't really matter.

I will have gone from playing 1 to playing 5 or 6 this week!

And the 2021 season started last week.

We won the Handicap division in 2020, and have gone 1 from 1 so far this year.

Golf is back to normal in the ACT - Opens and DGA season is happening, pins can come out, rakes in, handshakes if you want....
