Let’s enjoy it while it lasts because we’re shutting the game down when he retires.

I heard somebody say today that this was his best win ever.

I don't go that far, mainly because I think the two wins that were better than this one were the best two wins by anybody ever.

I've always ranked Tiger's 2001 Masters the best win ever. Because it completed the Tiger Slam. Surely no golfer has ever played a tournament under such pressure of expectation and thrived under that pressure.

I've always had his 2000 US Open win at number 2, mainly because he won by 15 (or 16, I can't recall) shots on a very difficult course, in bad weather, against the best.

But I'm ranking this one number 3, ahead of his 2008 US Open win, where he won on one leg. No doubt there are other great performances, including some by Jack, that are right up there, but as far as comeback wins go, only Ben Hogan's comeback from a car accident ranks, and I didn't see that, so I rank this win higher.

Feel free to disagree guys, but do it politely.

I disagree. Carlton’s next win will be the best win ever. It will certainly be more surprising.

Dunno. The Schindler’s List effect on that one makes it a bit creepy.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Agreed but he wont be able to get away with errant driving at Pebble like he did at Augusta.
The rough will be way more penal.

You sure the rough at Pebble Beach isn't more strategic??
