Heard on the grapevine that Royal Canberra, after going thru a multi million dollar Mike Clayton rebuild, has worked out that bent grass fairways don't survive in Canberra without a monumental and unsustainable water bill, and is planning on going couch within the next two years.
The members will be annoyed.

That people her in SA are obsessed with Dishonourable Nick X and how he will become the next Premier.
He has absolutely no interest in SA and the only reason he has come running back is that he was going to get caught out in the Citizenship saga in Federal Politics.
Once you go yellow, you will never go back

Appears The Board and Course Super may have some explaining to do if your grapevine is correct.

lol... people who advertise on Gumtree stating "All offers considered".... so I made a lowball offer to start the negotiation process, and he gets all upset and now changed his ad to "NO OFFERS!!! Dnt want to pay then dont waste my time!"
Panicked customers.
Friday arvo I was out collecting materials for my job this morning.
An old customer rang and left a message for me at 3.30pm, then again at 4pm, and just after 5pm. Then at 8.30pm they left another message saying they've been ringing and ringing and can't get hold of me. Then they rang again later still on Friday night. Then again Sunday arvo, and lastly this morning just after 7am.
So I rang her when I got into the shed and she was so worried I might have gone out of business or something, she rang so many times. I told her I was out with work Friday arvo, and it's only just Monday morning now!
Wonder what she'll say this arvo when I look at her job and tell her it'll probably be July before I can even do it?

Lan Choo tea
Its almost like someone has gone outside, pulled some eucalyptus leaves off a tree and crushed them into a tea bag
I feel like a koala drinking this vile water; a lesson learned (to remember) to bring in my new pack of tea bags tomorrow
Someone explain this to me as it does bemuse perplex and befuddle me: player takes his putting stance, club behind ball, then decides to move putter head between ball and feet, **without changing his stance / stepping back / moving his feet**, proceeds to have a couple of practice swings, then move putter head back to behind the ball and putts out.
I'm always confused as to what is being practiced. Imagine the same approach with a driver: tee it up, take stance, then decide to have a a couple of practice swings swinging the driver head six inches closer..
And, first time ever I turned a customer away! What she wanted me to do was akin to throwing a sheet over the chair, and I've never refused a customers job before, no matter what, but this time I did. It felt both nerve wracking and exhilarating at the same time. I need to do that more often!

I've played with someone during the weekend, and he does something similar... just before he hit the ball, he does a shuffle with the club head up and down (address, pull back, address, pull back, etc) for maybe 2-3 seconds before a quick pause and back swing... decent player too
Should have followed the lead from this bloke

Brilliant. Should have used 4 asterisk's though.
