    That is great Mike.
Lets hope those city-slickers from Cairns don't hold us up all day.

Mike, in Brisbane next weekend and Sydney the weekend after. First chance for a game is the weekend of 28/29. The following 5/6 is the Sea Temple Open. The last weekend in November is it for me as each weekend in December is away following the ST Open through to the New Year.

Is there anyone in town tomorrow who I can bludge a lift off to golf? The limo goes in for a service first thing tomorrow at Irelands and could use a ride from the Sebel Habourside. Can play either at 12.30 or 3.30pm. My number is 0411982962 if someone could give me a call.

Can we delay tee time until 1:00pm? I can't leave work until 12:30.

Sorry Brett, but I can't drive you in my work car, otherwise I would pick you up. The yellow-feathered one may be able to pick you up, and I'll certainly be able to drop you back afterwards.

OK Brett we'll aim for the 28th or 29th.
Or alternatively, any chance of a mid week game between now and then?

Julie, it looks like the shiny-bums are 2 groups in front of us. I'll try wangle the draw so we're the group behind. That'll be fun.

4 pretty big targets. Should be easy to hit.

If you wrangle the draw, let us know if we have to be there earlier etc.

    Mission accomplished.

We're off at the same time, Cairns guys off at 7.48.

What's Russell's handicap? Is he allergic to anything?

I think his handicap is 14.
Russell is allergic to nothing, he is as tough as nails.

    Mike beat Russell 2/1.
We both started off playing great golf. I was only 3 over after 11 holes. Russell wouldn't have been far behind. Then the wheels fell off for both of us. By the end we were playing absolute shit golf, fortunately for me my golf wasn't as shithouse as Russell's.
Hitting that guy on the last hole was not a good way to finish.

Yeah he had settled down by the time I got to him. Bit of a bump on his forehead.

I hit my approach from about 170 metres. I tugged it left and it was heading to the left of a group of 4 so I knew they were safe. I didn't realise there was a 5th behind the tree. Russell saw him before me and yelled fore, but they wouldn't have heard it anyway because of distance and wind. My ball took one bounce and whammo.

The bounce was fortunate. I made par from there.

There's a beer waiting for him in the clubhouse.

    Shook me up a bit.

Courty, time to wrap this up. I can't make the final 4. I'd have to beat Brett 7/5 to get ahead of Cookie and that ain't gonna happen. Get Solarman to play his last match and get the finals done before the rain comes.

Shite! I just realised that I haven't updated Mike vs. Russell.

I really don't wanna call it early, so I'll give you one last chance. You're still a chance as Cookie is just as likely to forfeit. Then you only need to get in front of Bobsticle.

Not much chance Brett. This weekend is out. You've got the open next weekend and then I'm in Sydney for 3 weeks.

Courty, wrap it up. If Cookie has to forfeit, slot Bob in there. I didn't want to finish 4th anyway.
