Default VIC Champs predictions and goals thread

OK, I lied, one more thread about the champs!

Put em in here boys and girls. What will happen? What do you want to happen?

Please note this is not about the Friday match, we have a thread for that sledging already.

    My predictions:

DC to fall at the last hurdle to AndyP and miss out on yet another champs title.
NAGA to be not from VIC.

    My goals:
150 points for 5 days golf.
Max of 2 double bogies or worse.
    Don't snap any wedges.

Tanking is such an ugly word. This was score management as part of the long term of goal accomplishment.

    Thursday -as expected
Friday-big match play win and a half in the 4ball... Surprise fireball pick (courty must of had a feeling) 2.5 Pts of the teams 5.5
Sat- scrappy 35 Pts with more signs of improvement... I told shazza I could maybe go a couple better
Sun-solid with luck 42 Pts, played well under game book preasure.
    Monday... Crashing to earth maybe

Takes to shazza and Paige last night was the only bad night of the trip. Thanks to flower girl for the bed

Out to a thank you dinner.

I hate doing goals and the such for things like this. As Courty has shown, they become a bit of a burden. Everyone has gotten on the CLUB 150 train. 150 points seems like it is achieveable, if you hit the ball ok, and the weather holds out. Otherwise... well it could be anything. Good luck with the mission.

Popper's goals for the Vic Champs
    # One birdie everyday. Happy with more.
    # Break my handicap one round, somewhere. Do that I will be stoked.
    # Not be the NAGA

Seriously though..... I don't know if you all quite realise how excited I am to be playing some top course. I have a very limited golf history. Sure there is some good tracks up here..But not the class of down there. It is going to be fun. Not to mention some of the suprises that are instore for everyone. Will really add to the event.

The doctor just told me no golf for 2 weeks, hahahaha... Funny **** he is ( i think he is serious). See how is all works out. I will come down no matter what. I will hit some balls/play saturday and see how I pull up. That will give me a better indication of how I am going to go.
No birdie at St Andrews Beach.... DAMN!!!!
    Wasn't the NAGA..... YAY!
    Had one good round..... YAY!

    Rounds were the following

    Kingswood: 28pts
    Southern: 32pts
St Andrews Beach: 26pts ( finished 1,1, wipe wipe, after being 5 points after 5 holes)
    Moonah Legends: 39pts
    Spring Valley: 26pts

Not unhappy with how I played considering the leadd up. The rib was fine by Saturday, troubled me a little sleeping and the calf held up. Tongue is mighty sore today..... no idea why

As for the run, 18:40 was no chance after a long Friday and limited sleep. 19:32 is more than respectable while running under the influence.

    144. A perfect pyramid of poo: 26, 29, 34, 29, 26. However, I'm happy that I broke 80 at St. Andrew's Beach, and for the first time ever was tied for a placing in the lead group after Saturday.
