02/02/2020, Corinda Pitch 'n Putt.
One of the things that pisses me off about being injured, is not being able to do things with the kids. My youngest is into golf at the moment, and I haven't been able to take him out at all over the summer. Today, I took him out for 18 holes at the pitch 'n putt, which also doubled as a bit of an injury test for my shoulder and pelvis.
No play since October, so of course I birdie the first hole. When it is pitch and putt, it is hard to tell how well you are hitting it, but I hit all but one of the greens in the last nine holes. It would have been nice to sink more birdie putts, but I can't complain with even par for the round with two birdies matched with two bogeys.
As for the injuries, the shoulder didn't like it early, but seemed fine for most of the round; let's see how it pulls up. I'm never sure with the pelvis, and it was nowhere near the distance of a full course anyway. Promising though.
Score: 28-26-54; Par 27-27-54.
