Dan Murphys have another ripping deal on at the moment, Jim Barry "Jims Garden" Coonawarra Cabernet. Giving it away at $16 a bottle for the members (its mostly about $25 everywhere else).

Let it breath for half an hour and you'll be well rewarded. Cheers.

I remember you recommend The Cover Drive about 10 years or so ago.

I did, it's still around I think. This is a step up in quality at a similar price.

Dan Murphys have the Wynns quaffing reds on special this week, the white label shiraz, red stripe blend and the siding cabernet for $9.95 a bottle. Pile into as much as you can of the shiraz and red stripe, they are absolute bargains. The siding less so (I'm not really a fan) but to each their own. You wont see them this cheap again for some time. Cheers.

Couldn't see this in NSW for Dan's. But did for Liquorland for $10. Maybe it's just the app not showing it.

The blend is a great drop. And at that price worth getting some. They say up to 7 years cellaring but screw cap and all, go nuts.

I'm sure they are all different, but the current 2 for 1 at Dan's, which is a Heathcote Shiraz, at least near me, is spectacular, really spectacular.

Time for a pre winter red fill up lads. Dans have the Chapel Hill Mr Vinecombe cab-shiraz-merlot blend on run out at $9.50/bottle by the half dozen. This was $19 a bottle not so long ago, apparently theres a glut of the 2021 vintage they need to clear (Dans owns Chapel Hill). Its a superb drink that will only improve over the next few years. Heavy buy recommendation, give it a decant/breathe before getting stuck in. Cheers.

Was just thinking the other day that I wanted to see what Webster was reccommending for the winter.

On a wine note, anyone used a wine delivery service recently that they reccommend, haven't used one for a while, probably Vinomofo, but keen to hear if any are recommended.

Been buying more from vinomofo lately as they are doing more and more 6 packs of wine around that $15/$20 mark a bottle (down from the $50 or more they say it is).

I've been really happy with the wine we have got from them over the years. Mixes are usually good. Heaps more international than before.

Yeah just got a mixed dozen from vinomofo and the two reds we've had have been nice. Good value at 140ish.Had used naked wines once or twice to mixed experience, a couple of really nice bottles but some real cat piss as well.

    Exactly what I have heard.

Vinomofo has always been drinkable in my eyes. But each to their own.

Happy to send anyone a code for $25 if you DM me your email for a referral

And I get $25 for it too. Full disclosure

Vinomofo are ok, but can be very hit or miss. I haven't bought from them in years as there are much better options about. I'm not really a fan of the bundled offers, plenty of other online info about to steer you towards the best offers.

I got my wines from Naked Wines. Some great wines and we get to support smaller wine makers.
