Default 2007 Champs, Kooralbyn Valley, Nov 17-18

I reckon it should go back to Coolangatta Tweed GC, if they will allow us to play on the Saturday and Sunday.

    Discuss.

I don't think this is a viable option considering the numbers that we get, and it was so much better last year over two days.

Bugger off with that list crap this early.

Don't know the courses but the price seem reasonable to me. I'd go it.

If we forget about the golf then any time you want

With the boss at work this year then I can say I am firmly in 4B pencil for this.

Having not played any of the champs yet (pathetic I know) I'd much prefer 36 over 2 days to spread out the fun, and not feel rushed.

And I'd play a Chinchilla/Dalby double if I had to to play the champs. Are Robina/Colonial any good? I'd pay $125 including carts in a heartbeat.

If you knew the courses, just, you'd be more likely to "go it".

Robina/Colonial are 30mins closer to Brisbane and cheap as sh!t for those mega members on board. We'd get guest rates for the rest of the gang.

Robina is nice, but pretty tight and definitely helps to have some local knoweldge.

The CTH courses (esp West) are rather more straightforward and fairer...

I would be happy to play Tweed Heads again or the Robina/Colonial deal.
Playing over 2 days is the only way to go though

I'd play Pines Rivers/Pine Rivers combo for the champs. It's not about playing the best courses for me, so put me down no matter where we play.
Now I'm not as blase about where I drink and chuck, so I need some options there.

I find the River course at CTH tighter than a 12 year old nun, so I'm happy with the Robina/Colonial Double.

It would actually be only $70 for mega members....

not really fair that some of us get it cheaper is it? not that I have a suggestion to fix it.

Robina is nasty. Some will be spending enough money to get there, let alone on lost balls around the course!

The website tells me that it is $70 for Robina and $60 for Colonial for Mega members in summer, totalling $130. Where does your total come from?

I don't mind which courses we play and don't think CTH River is too tight, or care about losing balls at Robina (can't be any more lost than at PH). It should be great either way.
Let's see what sort of availablity the two options have and a get a quote from CTH.

Plenty of love for Robina / Colonial here. And I've barred the mrs this year so you all might be a chance at the poker table.

Don't deprive me of my revenge, Steve. That's what I've been in training for.......

Grunt, we don't have a specific weekend in mind. Just the October/November area, dependent on course availability and green renovations schedule, if known.

This is a great idea. Middle week in September/October(last w/e in September I think it is) holiday is a great choice I'd be a 95% chance of making them, cause I could bring the whole family back for the 2 week of the holidays.
