    Default Repairing laptop hinge...... Araldite....

So, Rob's laptop had been a HP envy 17 that's been a lemon from the start. Anyway, it's been replaced and I'm trying to fix up some issues and see if I can keep it working for me. One problem is that the hinge screws have broken out! I fished some pieces or of the fan, so that might solve the overheating issue.

But I'd like to see what I can try to get this usable. Maybe it'll just be as a desktop. But as all the hinge screw things are broken out, I'm thinking of trying some Araldite dabbed in the right places, then close the hinge bracket back into place.
Do we think this is a good idea or not? Could it work? In the end of we had to bin it, we'll bin it. But just thought I'd ask first.
