The Return!
I have not played since the courses in Victoria got closed (7 weeks I think) and tomorrow morning I return.
I am mixed between nervous to see how bad it is and excited to get out there!!
Any other Vics just starting up again?

Just don’t f**k it up and give Chairman Dan a reason to take it away.
And enjoy the serenity, don’t get too caught up with score.

Yep, enjoy it and not getting caught up in the score is an ongoing issue with my game!
Here is the kicker....I am actually playing in NSW!

I grab 9 holes with a couple of mates on Wednesday afternoon, it was very nice to be back out there. As usual after a long lay off smoked the first drive then proceeded to get slowly worse for the rest of the 9.
We had flags out which was a bit odd.
Back out tomorrow and can't wait.

Played a game last August, prior to that SFA for a long time due to injury. My new vocation/location of Kilmore for the forseeable future lends itself to a couple of hits a week. Membership/sponsorship is pretty cheap for a 5 day so I will bring the sticks out of hibernation next week, kill all the red backs that have surely found a nice home in the bag/shoes and start the rebuild process of the body and swing and hopefully catchup with many of you again on the track in the not too distant future

Not a Vic but played my first 18 on Wednesday for 2 months, only practice was 8 holes on the Sunday prior and have been putting around the apartment.
Played at Long Reef, even the front and a 5-6 over the back, so 38-39 points.
I figure golfers might be like horses, some come back ready to play/win, others take a few starts.
Good luck on the weekend

Sounds like your an old gelding mate that prefers a good break between runs and goes best fresh. Nice first up performance by the way

Never a truer word spoken mate.
I tried the half set/carrying bollocks, will be back with my buggy next round so there is somewhere to store a few lagers.

Most enjoyable 30 points I have ever shot. Hit it ok, putted very average, but enjoyed it because of a better attitude.
Need to keep the attitude up as I get back into it.

I have take up a lifestyle membership at Gardiners Run where you get 12 rounds over the year for $500, pretty good value and ahve a few mates that are members there. If I still have the golf bug at end of year might look at my longer term golf options.
