I actually posted this in last month's thread, but caught my error before pressing the post button. Because it would be doubly disappointing to post a poor round and then be castigated by people who are obsessed with small details like posting in the correct month. People like myself.

So it is only a single disappointment to report a very ordinary round of 32 points. I hit a number of great drives on firm fairways to spots one or two clubs shorter than normal. But I kept messing up the approaches, and eventually I stopped making miracle par saves.

If I can work out why the drives are going straight, but the approaches are going way right a good round could be just around the corner. Or it could get worse. I hope not.
