Greens were cored last week. Back 9 fairways are being cored last week of October. Should be fine for play though.
Club champs for me both days that weekend

I read the Supt report - I assumed it was just written - it could be a bit older.
They should be fine either way by 27 October.
They have also done tees, surrounds, par 3 surrounds, 6th and 9th fairway coring.
They are extending fairway approaches on 2, 3 and 8.
They have been remounding/seeding some of the roots on lhs of 1 as well.
Plus some tree management (incl between 15 and practice green).
Lots being done, all good. I must get there again soon - I'm in Sydney when you are visiting though.
Benje
Thank TC
by the way, greens were cored when you thought they were. First week of September.
The Course newsletter that I saw was from Sept 2018, not Sept 2019.
Ignore my post above about fairway coring etc etc.
They are doing some mounding on 9, 18, 2 and 5.
They are extending he irrigation on back towards the tee.
Re games at Blackwood - you get 6 free games don't you? via TTG. I don't. Friday late afternoon would be excellent.
only 3 Benje (might have changed recently) but I have 2 x BW prepaid voucher books that work out dirt cheap per round (non peak times), they don't sell them anymore (but of course honour anyone who has vouchers outstanding)
I can cover your round with one as they are transferable

I'm in Sydney TC.
Looks like I'm out for this. Family commitments.
Thinking this might be a wipe for October
Can't make this one sorry TC.
Ok, booking has now been cancelled
If anyone is interested in playing a Friday afternoon / evening let me know, there is a wonderful Mexican place in Stirling we can visit afterwards as well. Looks like Benje and I may be heading out there in the coming month or so
Played this course on Sunday, was in absolute pristine condition. Greens were a tad furry and slow but totally expected on a Sunday morning in the hills.
Shame it didn't work out
Looks very lush, definitely keen for a round
Anyone interested for the Sunday before the SA champs?
Not for me thanks BYU.
Im really busy with family commitments, it's the only way I can get a leave pass for the following champs weekend
