Cannot stand this grunting man-thing. Happy whenever she's out of a tourney early.

Hewitt looks like he is just hanging on. It's
hard to see him breaking the Raonic serve.

The match is on his raquet imo. Hewitt's only chance is if he starts missing. Not much Hewitt can do bar hang in and hope. He's just so powerful and Hewitt lacks the weapons to dictate a change in match tempo.

Pretty much describes Hewitt's position with whomever he plays. No weapons & he's no longer a quick scrambler around the court.

Raonic making lots of unforced errors, there's opportunites there if Hewitt can take them.

and on cue he suddenly starts missing. 4 unforced errors in one game out of no-where.

Lets hope he keeps missing enough and Hewitt can get him deep enough to tighten up.

Raonics first ever lost breaker in a slam if i heard right. Raonic now missing many more balls and very tight on the lost set point. After much hard work and hanging in Hewitt is now in the box seat (and in his element - a good old fashioned dogfight is now in progress) tho Raonic could easily loosen up and start hitting his spots again. He's behind now.

This is the best tennis Hewitt has played for a long time regardless of what happens from here.

Is it just me that thinks that that the Hewitt & Raonic match is painful? Either looks unlikely to take more than 6 games off (next opponent) Djokovic in a straight set defeat.

Yeah mate, the way he is playing nowadays it takes a supreme effort from a supreme player to have a chance. Hewitt very definitely knows what he's up against.

Absolutely vintage Hewitt tonight. He'll need two more levels to be competitive next round.

Raonic actually some support he'd win the tourney.
