Default The NSW Matchplay final in pictures

Time for some egg & bacon roll power!

The competitors shake before tee off

Mike's first tee shot (hole 19 of the NSW matchplay champs)

    Jim's first tee shot

Grant, brad & I were in the group behind - so didn't get to see too much more of the match. We got 2 updates - where Mike was 1up each time.

But this is what greeted us at our 18th hole - no result!

Can see who Amanda was going for. Snapping Mike in the middle of his back swing and Jim in the follow through

    Hole 37 (1st hole)

Jim's tee shot - on the fairway (from memory)

Mike's tee shot - unfortunately it went a bit left

    Jim's 2nd shot - make the green

Mike's 2nd shot - to behind the green (& up the cart path)

Competitors walking up the fairway to the green

Unfortunately Mike's shot is up the cart path

    Jim's first putt

Mike's first putt (after chipping down)

Both missed their putts and the hole was squared

    Hole 38 - par 3

    Waiting on the tee

    Intense concentration

    The hole

    Jim's tee shot

    Mike's tee shot

Both competitors went a bit left - but Jim's made the green. Unfortunately Mike was in a bit of trouble...

Thanks everyone! Picked up a new camera on the weekend - a nice compact one that's perfect for golf.

Expect lots of pics from Sydney ozgolf days from now on (I don't think I'll ever match the quality of Tezza's pics though - my equipment & skill aint that flash!)
