Anyone tried these? I'm in the market for some new spiked shoes and these caught my eye.

Yes - I had a pair of those, confortable when broken in, but I had to return mine when the leather tore near the instep/sole. Good warranty though, no problem returning them.

They were actually my second pair - the first pair tore an eyelet when I first tried to put them on after getting them home, but again no issue exchanging them. I was probably just unlucky - replaced them with Foot Joys that had part of the sole come apart half way through the first round (at the OzGolf SA Willunga round).

    Cool thanks Ian.
Might have the pull the trigger next time there's an ebay coupon for Golfbox.

They're pretty cheap at Drummond at the moment if you can find a store that has your size in stock...

Received the Pumas yesterday and feel pretty good not as much cushion as the Nikes I got earlier but they have a quality feel to them.

They are very classy and comfortable but I sold mine only after about three rounds and some range time. The uppers are beautiful and soft, but the heel was rock hard and gave me blisters every time I wore them, pity as they are a great looking and feeling shoe under foot!

I bought a pair of those Pumas from Golfbox a couple of years ago and sold them before taking them out on course. Felt a tad too narrow for me when I tried them on for the first time.

As for now I'm still rocking the original Nike Lunar Control plus FJ Sport and Contour BOA, but have been checking Golfbox for something to add to the rotation.

After a couple of pairs of Puma which look good, fit well and were on sale at Golfbox but offer no durability I'm back to True Linkswear.

The new OG Premium are my 5th True pair and like the others they are super comfortable and have a style that means I can walk straight off the course and keep wearing them all day.

Last few pairs have worn out from off course wear more so than on course use.

Bought all earlier pairs during US trips but they have a local stockist who offers comparable pricing and quick delivery.

Yep got a blister, had to throw a bandaid on after 7 holes. Other than that I like em, they could do with a little more cushion but grip was good and fit felt fine too. Great shoe for $55.

Saw these at Rebel today https://www.rebelsport.com.au/p/nike...011006#start=1
More of a budget Nike golf shoe but felt like they had some cushion and not bad value for 100 clams.

Often the case with new leather golf shoes, takes a few rounds for the leather to stretch.

You can try smothering your feet in vaseline; also applying a hot hair dryer to the leather while stretching it will relieve the tension. I had to do this with my classic FJ Tour shoes

Nothing like vaselining your feet before a game

FreshFoamSL purchased, plus a pair or runners while I'm at it. Thanks for the recommendations, and the heads up on the sale.
