An order of mac and cheese balls should be safe. Apparently not, according to Tapworks Bar and Grill in Chermside.

I look around and I can see tomato “garnish” on way too many plates. The tomato farmers are the winner here.

At least it was a whole one and not sliced up to spread the evil over the meal you ordered and wanted.

I once knew a "tomato" farmer.

    Cops shut his operation down.

This is true, and a reason why I haven't completely blacklisted them (that and the quality beers).

How long ago was that? They probably don't need to dabble in special farming for extra cash now, since the hospitality industry is helping them out.

Great schnitzels, but forget the "potato" salad. I've had many while here and this is the first with the equivalent of a turd plopped on top of it.

I can usually take or leave tomatoes but when I ordered chips and coleslaw with my steak yesterday I was left a little confused as to why I received a big half tomato on my plate.

Default Tomatoes: Get out of my food

Emirates, what the ****! Eggs, mushroom, spinach and potato for breakfast should be easy to deliver as expected.

Sack your catering company. They've been bribed by the tomato farmer union. No poor bastard on a long haul flight should have to deal with this shit.

Just looking at my photo again makes me angry. That thing is ugly AF, and has no place there, even if it is dodgy airline food.

Has anyone heard the tomato farmers complaining about drought conditions? No, I didn't think so. They are being looked after.

There's something wrong with you, AP. The piece of tomato is probably the most edible part of that breakfast.

On my recent Emirates flights it surprised me how awful the food was. I have learned a lesson. Never order anything chicken, or anything that isn't covered in some sauce that has a clearly identifiable flavour. Much worse than any previous flights I have been on.

Tomato is never the most edible part of any meal, period.

A friend ordered this at the Norman Hotel, Woolloongabba.

There was no mention of it on the menu.
