Sandra and I are expecting our first baby next May (EDD - 05/05/05!!).

Any suggestions for names from the ozgolf community??

As much as I like Ernie Els, I don't know if Ernest will get a run... Nor Vijay for that matter..

You've been watching too much Ricki Lake and Jerry Springer...

Some other "helpful" suggestions from my friends back in Charlotte, NC were :-
Randy, Skeeter, Billy-Bob, Cleetus, Chuck, Rusty, George, Al etc....

go with Sean for both selection if you're not planning on finding out the gender early.

covers both bases, no more thinking required, done!

more time in your life to go get some kfc or hit some balls then eh?

Vegas, we trolled through the baby name books noting down which ones we liked individually. Then we brought the lists together, and noted the names that are on both lists, and those that the other partner could be talked into.

It's best to leave the decision on the final name until the end, because sometimes a name can go stale on you, or you change your mind.

My missus seemed to like lots of names ending in a 'en' sound.
Dylan, Jackson, etc. Considering the surname ends in the same sound, I didn't like them.

Can't remember if I posted this tale before or not???
When we were expecting our daughter - my husband's favourite actor at the time was Stacey Keatch ( yep I know - never heard of him and if you have you'll be saying why? - but hey my husband is a bit on the weird side - but hey - that's another story!!!!) so he insisted we name our new born little ( well not so little - she was 10lb 7 oz - but hey - thats another story!!) daughter after him
Three days after she was born and duly named Stacey - Stacey Keatch got arrested for smuggling vast quantities of cocaine into the States.

So great - our daughter is named after a convicted drug smuggler!!

Didn't have more babies after that - god knows I he'd name them after!!

I always wanted to call my daughter, Trillian, Tegan or Nyssa. But our first born was a girl so my wife got to do the naming.

As for a boy, no flashy poofy names. Blokes have simple needs, so anything with one syllable is good enough.

Congrats on your little one on the way! Very exciting!

    Cool due date!

As for baby names... http://www.babynames.com/V5/ is great for looking up baby names...

We find girls names really easy but boys names really hard to pick...There are sooooo many girls names I love but boys names I even like a few and far between!

No wonder your husband likes him, he probably just says that to divert your attention from the hot babe in the red dress that he is perving at.
