Sound's like a great idea, $10 in each for the nett and $10 for the gross, 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. Only problem will be choosing a time and location that atleast 20ish Ozgolfers can make it and where we can play uninterupted for 36 holes....unless you were thinking over 2 days...but this may limit a few people. Good idea though

How about Coolangatta-Tweed? We can play the West course in the morning comp, have lunch, and the get on the River course for a social round in the arvo. It should be quite easy to fit in 36 holes in one day if we take advantage of daylight savings later in the year. Then we can have a barbie and presentations afterwards.
With the GC airport close by, some of us from Sydney can fly up as well, giving the Ozgolf Cup an interstate flavour. I'm certainly keen as long as we get plenty of notice.

Yep, Coolangatta Tweed is fine by me. I don't really mind where we go within 1-2 hours of Vegas.
Other alternatives I can think of....
Nudgee - North & South
Indro - West & East
Toowoomba - Middle Ridge & City (bit more complicated, but our founding fathers live there )
Lakelands & Palm Meadows (they're across the road from each other)
Sanctuary Cove - Palms & Pines (not sure what it costs to stay at the Hyatt though..)
Gainsborough Greens - sooo quiet, should be no dramas to play twice. Be cool to see the big hitters overpowering the place!

He has a habit of doing this. See AFL Trumpet Blowing thread for further evidence.
This sounds cool guys. So October 31? I'll pencil it in the diary, even thought it's the dog's birthday.
Sunshine Coast courses are an option too???

I'm definitely keen. As I've mentioned to a few of the boys, I have some frequent flyer points up my sleeve. With plenty of notice, I should be able to make it. I've started dropping hints to the missus already.

Sounds like a plan. I'll get onto that too.
