When the turn arround?? A week ago your wedges were all but hopeless. Is good to hear their back on track. Dont know who to cheer for as i have only played with you both once. Not enough to form an opinion on who deserves to win or lose. I will be the official fence sitter on this one.

No, my wedge play still needs a lot of work but my chipping and putting has been very solid.

there's not a high priority on lob wedge shots at Barny. The greens are huge, but have rolled edges and collection areas. The bunkers are typically a long way off the green surfaces. a hybrid/mid iron bump and run shot is something that'll be used a lot.

Thats all you need then a good up and down game. Will lean towards the bloke with the best up and down game. Poidda was preety solid around wynnum on sunday till the 17th hole. Got a bit ughly but redeemed himself with a beautifull up and down form over the back of 18. Good luck either way guys.

Eagsy, just to let you know, I had another chop today that's sent me to 11.5, or more commonly known as 12. It seems our matchplay will be of the bat now.

Eag's, he tanked today's round to get to 12.

He was in a greenside bunker for 2 on 17, and bogeyed it.

    It's unethical, I tells ya.

Barnbougle will be the winner, daylight second, Eags and Poidda tied for third (especially if the breeze gets up)!

And as for Perci "At least who ever wins will have an easy 2nd round match.", he's just sandbagging and talking himself down!

Poidda wins 2 up, well played mate.
Had my chances but could not get the job done. I was 1 up after the first but then proceded to lose 3 out of the next 4 holes.
We halved the next 3 and Poidda went 3 up after he won the 9th.
He also won the 10th with a great shot to 3 feet, I made a nice par to go 4 down I then won the next 3 in a row to go 1 down.
Poidda made a couple of nice 7 footers for halves on the next 2 and I had my chance on 16 to quare the match but missed a 3 footer
We halved 17, both of us nailed drives down 18 and Poidda hit a great rescue to the heart of the green and I hit a massive snap hook into the shit left, then stuffed my next to chips to give Poidda the easy win.

3 hozel rockets and 38 putts won't beat anybody
