Default NSW Matchplay - Trung vs Chopper Rematch

    Rematch done and dusted.

After a seesaw event of both taking our turns in the lead I won after 36 holes 1 up. Many thanks to Trung for the enjoyable day out and stiff competition.

    1. Trung 41pts
    2. Chopper 39 pts
    3. Grunt 34 pts
    4. Griffo 39pts

    Cheers

Interesting re-match happening on Thursday, Chopper came back in the first game from 5 down at Carnarvon. Now playing at his home track, Beverley Park, can he take it out?

    Congrats to Chopper.

Match went down to the last putt of the 36th hole. Chopper sunk a putt for par from 2m to seal the match after I sunk the birdie putt on the 18th to put some pressure on him.

    Chopper won 1 up

Was a good match play match. Both guys played well 39 & 41 points. Chopper set the mood of the day with a par on the 1st hole. A matchplay match that sees no player get more than 2 in front.
Can Chopper stop the Jimandr matchplay machine?

If 39 points is the score, I'm no chance. I've achieved 39 points once in the last 2 years. Is there any possibility that the chopster will lose shots from his handicap as a result of this game?

Assuming Chopper is exclusively a midweek player, I won't be able to play this game for a month or so. I'm already using this month's RDO next Thursday at St Micks. I'll send a PM next week to kick off negotiations.

Could lose a shot maybe out of this game, course will rate low, a par 4 was 90m today due to course works.

14th Hole, along Ramsgate Road. It was shortened due to the workers putting in the Recycling plant that will give the course water.
