ok i got the week of 7th to 11th off so can probably organise a game then but am playing the thursday 10th. Got to do a few things with the kids too for school holidays but am sure we can fit something in. Maybe even the sunday 6th or something??? Even if it has to be at nudgee

Yup the book pretty heavy with social golf and is usually a slow day but if you can get us a slot for the two of us or even better a four so we can get two other ozgolfers along that will be good.Will be a quick day anyway,over by 10th hopefully the way im playing you should have cleaned me up by then. And its not far to walk back to the car

Ok so the match finally happened today in what can be described as not desirable golfing weather. So thanks for at least showing up Jarro and Gaz, as if it wasnt a match play game i dont know if i would have played Also thanks to Jarro for giving up his first round bye to let a newbie take part in this comp. I managed to scrape home for a 1up victory but only just. Was three up with four to go and Jarro stuck in there really well and got back to all square with only one left to play. After getting off to a flyer start of 3 up after the first 4, things slowed down there and stayed pretty much up and down right till the last four holes, where it all started up again. Jarro got on a roll and i got on the bogey train. Anyway thanks guys for the game, i really enjoyed the company and meeting more ozgolfers.
