I didn't realise he is only 36 years old! Feels like he's been around for ages.

He's been an inspiration to everyone in the way he's battled this disease.

I'll bring out my Leuk the Duck headcover this Saturday.

So damn heartbreaking. The random cruelty of it all is just unimaginable.

Now would be a great time for him to go back to Italy.

Good result for the justice system.

This isn't a comment on if he did it or not or that he is a good bloke, and i feel awful for the complainant involved, but it would be seriously problematic if you could convict on evidence such as was presented at the jury trial.

Agreed Yoss. I was once bashed in an elevator lobby, and despite 2 black eyes, blood nose and broken glasses, and the guy seen entering the elevator and apprehended on the ground floor, the prosecutor said that my statement alone wasnt enough, needed a witness as it would get thrown out of court. So he wasnt charged. On top of that the Police knew him well and really wanted to get him for this. ( he didnt admit and accused me of attacking him). And Pell was originally convicted on much less evidence.

Fairly emphatic result in the end. Is it rare to have a 7-0 result in the High Court?
