Good call. They'll go nowhere if they change lead singers

Would be different if they were still young. I'd Phil out of jail yet? Another's nearly died. Singer is deaf, they're in there 60's and to my mind they are oz's most successful musical export (by a fair margin). Sometimes you just have to say time to call it a day.

It's not like they have any history of changing their frontman

Bad, bad, bad choice with the head case douche bag ranger rose.
I'd be much happier if they just called it a day.

I actually kinda get it now; I hadn't realised they were about to tour, and clearly didn't want to cancel the whole thing.

Axel is the only singer that still has a flannelette shirt. So it was an obvious choice.

It's only because Joan Kirner was unavailable.

It had been a fairly poorly kept secret. Axl had been the strong rumour for weeks. Having said that, it appears he had been appointed for only the impending tour at this stage, so it might only be a trial initially?

I agree, user pays if you don't pick them up within 5 days.

Yeah it'd be pretty rare for me to have one sitting at the PO for more than a few hours, definitely no more than a day. It helps that I'm only about 250 metres away from the local PO

The interesting part is they used to send parcels back if they weren't collected withing 10 days, now they are going to hold them and charge you. Send back is now 30 days.

I'm just glad I get on with my postie. If we're gonna be away we tell him and he holds or mail till we're back. Anything bigger than a letter, and he drives down the back and honks, if no one's here he leaves it for us.

The Hird ruling makes for an interesting read.

I thought his costs were being picked up by some old boys on the board..
