Using oil tends to result in swelling (so I've heard).

Weekend weather forecast for Perth :

    Saturday - 44
    Sunday - 39

As much as I miss playing cricket, I certainly don't miss standing out in the field on days like this weekend!

    Yep. Absolute tragedy.

The hero that hit him needs his head bashed on a footpath a few times. Preferably until he a dribbling mess and won't ever be a danger to anyone again, ever.

Saw the father on TV last week asking for alcohol to be banned for people that get violent. I've been saying that for years. Bugger this increasing of taxes etc and punishing the people that do the right thing, just make people show ID and stick it on their licence if they are banned from drinking. If banned, you can't buy alcohol, and if people supply it to you, big fines.

Hard to enforce but we have to somehow make it harder for these idiots to get loaded up. Alcohol fuelled violence is a huge issue these days and for some reason the only solutions anyone ever thinks of seem to involve punishing every drinker instead of targeting the minority of morons who cause the problems.

Pretty sure i read the big grub has a history of this crap and was lucky not to have been jailed prior. We need the guy that sentenced that big football lowlife the other day for this one.

There are too many people making too much money from selling alcohol for anything effective to be done.

I'd be interested to see the numbers of incidents before/after midnight (or whatever time seems like the tipping point).

Be pretty cut and dried on that one Pete.

Closer to me, a young guy was found dead early Friday morning in Biloela on a dirt road. It's being treated as suspicious. Some people had been kicked out of the pub just earlier for fighting apparently, he was involved somehow they say.

Not hard to read between the lines and not many scenario's fit.
