I was thinking of you when reading it, actually. Although in a small town like Katherine, I'm sure everyone and their dog already knows about it.

When John Sendon won the John Deere Classic a couple of years back, he won a JD ride-on mower which he drove over to Rod Pampling's house where there was a party celebrating his win. Not sure how he & the mower got home.

I like this quote from the article:

"So what they do now is they do everything, and then they can say, look - not only has she got this, she's got that and the other."

    Literally.

If the article is genuine, it mentions 'internal testes', so I gather she won't get the role of the pool cleaner.

Unfortunately, it sounds like her 1 in a billion physiology puts her right on the fence of sporting gender classification.

Is it 1 in a billion ? On the radio this morning they said something along the lines of 1 in 4,000 babies are born with similar "problems". Which seems like an awful lot of transtesticles (to borrow a line from Ford Fairlane) out there!

There are a range of intersex conditions that are manifested in various ways. And 1 in 4000 is .025%, a pretty small number of people, especially with some of the intersex conditions you (and more likely the person themselves) are unaware they are this way.

    Amazing!

2 hole in ones in one round. I wonder if it was in a comp, what a shame if it wasn't.
