Old buggers hanging on to tradition

Will it hurt the club not having The Open until they cave?

I'm ambivalent about the vote. Their club do what you want.

So what the hell is gonna happen in the US now? All the shootings thus far have equaled zip on gun control. Now we have what's happened over the last two days.

Have two separate issues now come to ahead together and where the hell do they go now?

They talk about it for a while, move on and the same happens in 2 or 3 months.

    Nothing will make them change.

But just think how many people would have been killed today if they didn't have guns for self defense.

Another SA institution closing down. I remember their store on O'Connell Street North Adelaide having the longest, non reflective glass front window in the world. It curved out with a reflection sink below it. Weird, but interesting.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

What a ****ed up place. Would be interesting to see what was going through the shooters head - was he that shit scared that he could not control the adrenaline. Its either basically a UD or attempted murder.

Might be we need to change the name of police to something else in Australia as the yanks are giving the job a bad name.
    Cheers

They obviously need more guns, then the guy on the ground would of been able to shoot back! After all it is their democratic right

You know, I reckon that is half the problem.

"Sure the guy says he doesn't have a gun, but how the hell and I meant to know that."

With all the Police Shootings and racial tension over there at the moment, I can totally understand how this happens.

Understand, not in any way condone.

Agree. They're understandably twitchy. Hopefully this was a horrible accident

Unfortunately, an accident with 1 fired shot is possible, but 3 shots is questionable.
