Doesn't there need to be a draw before the matches start?

OK. Draw has been done. I put numbers of bits of paper and randomly drew them. And the draw is

    6v4 Flowergirl v Chappy
    8v5 Bruce v RobD
    7v3 Kev v V205
    9v1 Swanny v Toolish
    2 v 10 Andigold v Johnny Boy

Chappy - what Sunday can you get us on at Southern? Then we can see who can make it and we can get as many as these matches played.
    Bring it on boys.

    Vics,
I have had confirmation from the manager that playing on a Sunday is OK. He is even going to book in the tee times before the timesheet is released to the members.

We just need to decide on a Sunday now.

Please add your preferred date below and I will lock it in.

Apart from 10th Feb or 2nd March (if we go that far), any other Sunday is fine.

I'm in. How about we go for it and start a new thread in the Ist tee. Let's do it this year. Last year was a disappointment.
    Well done Chappy.

And Johnny Boy is in - I just haven't told him yet.

There's a problem with the draw. What happens in round 2 when you have 5 players left? And how will you get it down to two for a final?

Looks like you were scraping to make up numbers, now you have too many for a nice field of 8.

I'll sacrifice myself and take the walkover into the 3rd round

You could do a random draw again for the second round and who ever is last out of the hat gets a free pass to the next round.

Either that or scare up another 6 players...
