    Default Construction of Torquay Sands

    Here is a scan of an article from a construction magazine about the construction of the Torquay Sands course. Sorry the quality is a bit ordinary, but I had to scan it on the b&w scanner/ copier at work.

    Have you heard any more about the redesign etc. at Cairns GC. ie. What will the solution be? When will it happen?

    Thanks Courty - interesting article about what will probably shape up into yet another fine southern golf course....

    Can't believe the 700t of sand required to fill the "Lawrence of Arabia" bunker - that is some sand!!!

    And 135 bunkers all up.... that's a fair bit of work when you consider the particular drainage that has been built into them.
