    2007 has been great for golf. I'd rate 3 things perhaps in the following order;

    Monthly Medal win
    Won the Winter Challenge
    4 birdies in a round

The 2nd probably rates higher, but it was a Me vs Him nett score playoff. I won it in a canter. The reason I rate it beneath the MM is because every medal is a playoff against the field. The Winter Challenge was a cumulation of 2 MM's - but one of those rounds was played with the old bloke whose name appears on the trophy.

I've only had one par round this year, but it was at Barnbougle Dunes. Social of course....

Otherwise, I've won a couple of Saturday comps, that's all.
EDIT: Oh, I had a freaky back 9 early this year when i was +7 through 7 holes:- par, bird, bird, bird, par, bird, par, bird... then 3-jagged my attempt to go +8 and crashed badly with a double on the last for +5... Still, it was pretty exciting and probably the best golf I've played in ages.

Been a quiet year. The ozgolf major drought continues...

27 on the front 9 at Oxley - in a comp.

My best social round was a 72 off the stick at Coolum without any mulligans or foot wedges.

Finest moment was shooting 2 over at Twin Waters drunk and no sleep from the night before. Flushed it all day, just putting let me down.

The finest moment was not the score, but rather not passing out or throwing up when retrieving the ball from the hole.

    Wasnt in a comp.

Mine are rather mediocre. Winning the odd C-grade thing isn't much to write home about.

40 for the front 9 at Neanger was my best ever score - it came after 48 on the back.

birdie, par, par on 7 8 9 at Mirboo one day was pretty good. 12 points in 3 holes.

1st eagle for me, followed by my second 2 holes later. Thats my finest hour so far

77m a few hops and straight in on a par 4, then slam dunked a 9 iron from 130m on a par 5

I went eagle, birdie, par, eagle to finish of a front nine of -1, comp round also.

I was playing off 14 at the time

I made 191 off 80 balls in competition cricket to take the side from 4-45 to all out 345 (chasing 150). 23 sixes and 11 fours. Got my name in the Herald Sun. Had 4 VB cans before going to bat which made all the difference.

If it wasn't "A"grade cricket it doesn't count for "jack" jack

wrong again jarro (you really are a lot stupider than I thought). As long as it is in VCA sanctioned grade cricket (any grade) then it counts. If it was in the local park with scarfi bowling a tennis ball at me and your mum was the only fielder than thats a different story.

Your stupid comment means that only A grade golfers scores should count in determining who wins the comp? Fool, and very disrespectful to our ill talented C grade golfing friends.

Settle down jack old fella, no need for a heart-attack.

I was merely asking if it was "respectable" grade of cricket, not some hit'n'gigle at the local park with your mates or something

We all admire your cricketing prowess and wish you all the best in your future cricketing endeavours ..... well done

Probably only Moe will be able to relate to this one.

but any time you hit the 8th hole on the West Course at Indooroopilly for 2 with a 3 wood or long iron.

    Terry.

i think i snuck on there playing with you one day tez. The course was pretty wet and my 3 wood approach skipped off the water onto the green.

if you're playng for Barnawartha (a town near Yarrawonga) in the Melbourne grade comp, I'm afraid it doesn't count.

    Tezza,

Never been on tha green from the back tees, whenever I get over the water, it never holds the green!
