I've shot par twice in my last 10 comp rounds. Both times I had a tough but makeable putt on 18 for the -1, so both times I felt like I left something out there. One day...

Thanks Andy. Yes it was the first time under par for the full 18 (done it for 9 holes many times). It was also the first bogey-free round.

Wow, that's awesome ! IMO that is so much harder than shooting under par.
I havent ,and choked on the last hole 3x to miss that. I guess I know how Shane Warne feels

Cheers Petey and Andy. It’s been a strange, but nice little run.

Courty and Johnny are the legends of Ozgolf! ( but no doubt Webster can go bogey free in his sleep with 3 clubs left handed but he only compares himself to other golfers by height)

    Well done, JC.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

The opening post counted shooting par as conquering the game, and you've surpassed that. Congratulations!
