    Default NSW 2008 Matchplay

Ok guys & girls the 2007 Final is being played this weekend so now is a good a chance as any to see how many of us are keen for next years event. The OzGolf Year is Champs to Champs isn't it?

What should we set as the rules for the event?

Should we have time limits for rounds?

Should we limit entries to 16 or have a bigger field with no doubt a lot of 1st round byes?

    DRAW DONE!!

Will fix it up later, results don't really matter unless it is the final and the bragging right the winner holds.

Any of the next round matches closer to planning yet? No pressure just looking to update draw if games are planned.

Chopper and myself are looking at a midweek game on Wednesday 7 May. The venue might be either Kareela or Bexley. Not the most attractive set of options, but Chopper is a Shire boy and I can't ask him to travel too far into the real world. Any midweekers who are free that day might like to keep their diaries open. It is still a bit early to post a thread for the game.

That would be the ideal situation Mike, for the next round of matches we may be able to do that.

I have no objection, in fact I would prefer it. Chopper indicated that the 6th was one of the days he was not working. I'll PM him and see what he wants to do.

I only picked the 7th because there are more Wednesday Open Day option than there are on Tuesdays.

The 6th is fine by me, sounds like a good foursome and enjoyable day out. Now the only thing to do is organise where.

    Default Brad V 3oneday - Bankstown 9th June

Thought I would start some interest into this match tomorrow.

I am backing Brad to pull this one off. Pete (31D) will be struggling early. Brad you just have to do what I did at Glenmore, nail a few big putts and it is all over.

What is the actual handicap difference? Brad 19, 3oneday 4?

    Go the underdog!!

6 so the gap is around 13 shots, still a good deal for Brad.

Think we have only had the one game too! You seem a popular bloke, every round we have had lined up others have wanted the game more.

Ahh Maybe, or should I not see what is going to happen to me. One good thing is the longer it take the more shots I will have. The handicap is going backwards fast.

I'd say we can all wait until until mid-july for the final semi place to be determined.

I'm still looking for the magic ingredient that will turn me into a reasonable player again, so I'm in no hurry. I won't even propose a set of options for my game with 3oneday until after the other game is completed.
