    Default Peter_rs vs golfer69 & Brisvegas Vs Dc68 @ Sat Nov 3rd....Windaroo...Monthly medal

    Okay guys.

While 69er is offline for a few days, give me some ideas on where to play him and whats his type of game as i've never played with him before.

    Any hints?

I learnt from Jarro... don't play him on a short course
I learnt from Shazza.... don't play him hung over
I learnt from Eags.... dont' play him on a course designed by his company / hard course...

    Anything else????

That's not what billybaub reported. It only takes $ to host a Qld Open, doesn't it? Quality of course doesn't seem to have much to do with it.

    How about Hills International?

what quality you talking about - course layout, or condition.

With the Qld Open coming up the grounds staff will be working overtime to make sure the course is on best shape for the event. That would include surrounds, gardens, cleanups everything.

Both. There's nothing great about the layout, and billybaub mentioned that the condition was ordinary as of a week or so ago.

Sorry to the masses but I would pay the extra and get first look at Colonial Golf Course over GG. GG greens where average (which may be fixed for the open) but the course needs lots of water there is a layer of dead grass just under the surface of the fairway and rough (makes it hard if you take divots).

Carbrook is a no go on a sat morning its hard enough to get one spot.

River lakes is possible but g69 all ready ruled that out and its a last choice for me normally but its a no as the greens are getting cored next week.

If we can keep the numbers together it would be good.

Coin will be a major factor for me.... I will NOT pay over $40 for a game that close to champs. Already playing KV for $60 next week.

Dick, book in 2 groups at windaroo in the PM, you dont wanna have an overbooking when all these clowns start pulling out.

Besides this is elite comp, you dont want it overloaded with riff raff, if there that keen to watch, they can be ball spotters, my word you two will need them.
