I did notice the ProV1 didn't seem to get as beat up as the TP5 does. They also seem to stay looking newer for longer.

Srixon Q Star Tours are now my ball of choice.

    Stop & drop control greenside.
    And a deadset bargain.

Just bought 50x A Grade from Discount Golf Balls & 50x AAA/Near Mint from Mike's Golf Balls.

Impressed with both purchases. Most look like one hit wonders.

My experience with Qstar tour is they spin as much as anything.

Pro Plus is firm like a prov1x, but less spin like a prov1. Pretty good ball for the price.

never have to think about the ball.i cant actualy think of anything about them i like disilke.

still play the old tourstage x01s , they have more solid imapct ,esp on putter face , ball feels like it repels quicker.

Q star tour. Great feeling and great value 3 piece ball. Any better ball out there for the price? Can often find them for $40-45 a dozen.

I accidentally acquired a dozen of those. They are better than good. Dunno why but they seem to find the middle of the club more. I normally use ZstarXV or ProV1X. If i didnt keep acquiring these as prizes (because of the bridgestone) i would be buying the Bridgestones.

I LOVE how the XV feels off the driver (last year's version, anyway). My only complaint is the "seam" wear they still tend to get (e.g., https://forums.golfwrx.com/topic/188...xon-seam-wear/)

You're in Japan, right? Do they still sell the orange versions there? I had a bunch of them a while back from a used golf ball site.
