I played a lime green 'vivid' Callaway supersoft. Sound off the new SZ driver is a satisfying dull thwack! Flies decent enough but I think spin is a little low on short shots.

Anyone played the Volvik S4? sposed to be super spinny.
I didn't mind the callaway superhot bold, while you could still buy it in Australia, in soft conditions. Firmer and more spin than the supersoft (but still a surlyn ball). The supersoft jumps off the face a bit too much around the green. I like the matte colours, though, which you can't get in urethane balls.
Has anyone tried these yet?

Haven't tried them myself sorry. But, I did hear somewhere, they are the official ball of one of those mini tours. The name escapes me...
I tried one, its seems to be a decent ball. I got no complaints, but how it performs against others is impossible to know.Would I buy them, nope, not unless I see proper testing like Mygolfspy does, not subjective BS like in most reviews. Did a bit of digging and nobody knows what factory these are coming out of, whereas most others of this ilk are from Foremost.
Liking the Bridgestone Tour RXS
I'm enjoying some mizuno mp-x balls I got for free. Didn't mind the mp-s when I had some of those, I think I like the x better. Can't buy them anymore though.
I have been trying the Snell line of golf balls and I'm pretty impressed. Going to buy a couple of dozen of the MTB-X when they are in stock on the Snell OZ site.

Played the Srixon Q star tour for a few games. Really good ball. Softer feel, plenty of spin (for me, im a high spin player) and great durability.
For $27 they were a bargain, found them for $31 so may load up again
Q star tours seem to be almost always about $30/dozen on golf box. They're a great ball at that price.
I've been looking at Snell and Vice balls, but in Australia they're competing on price with z stars, which are great balls. I like coloured balls though, and the vice colours look nice online (haven't seen them in the flesh). I like the yellow and orange z stars.
Why is it so hard to see yellow balls in the rough?
I have also used the new model for last few rounds, because its the best ball available to me for comp rundowns. I agree that is a decent ball. My bother is that it rated quite poorly on the MygolfSpy test 2019 which the Snell was no. 1. Admittedly that was the previous version Qstar and perhaps the ball differrences are not as significant as they appear.
Yeah I found it long enough, soft feel and enough spin. The cover I would assume is last year's Z star cover or equivalent.
I'd rather a ball take a bounce and stop than spin back 6 ft. Even on the firmer greens I found it to be enough for me to spin and play and the feel off the putter is great.
It may be 5 metres shorter off the driver in testing but I just don't care

looking at the product images those seem more brown much like the some Bolle golf lenses I used years ago.
So I am not surprised it all if at a yellow ball is +20m away it seems dull white especially in bright sunlight.
I am a long time convert to yellow, but I tend to only use them on overcast or rainy days to wearing tinted glasses.
Hahahaha
Some interesting data and observations in this comparison;
