Default Brissy based guys - Where to play!

I am staying in Tingalpa from 19-29 Jan and am hoping to squeeze in a few rounds.

I will be with my bro-in law for at least 1 round so looking for a social hit. Where in Brissy is a must play course for visitors. Heard about Brookwater but so damn expensive.

Also looking for a comp round on Sunday the 28th if anyone can help out.

    Thanks guys!

must play course depends on your taste and price range.

for the Sunday 28th comp round, there's plenty to choose from at http://www.ozgolf.net/forums/showthread.php?t=473

How far are you prepared to drive? You could go down to the Gold Coast or up to Bribie Island?
    What's the budget?

Sat 27th at Brooky should be great.

I am looking at playing a social round on Tuesday the 23rd. Somewhere close to Tingalpa would be ideal. Happy to spend the dollars on a nice course.

Wynnum and Pacific are probably the closest courses.

yeah Wynnum is the best bet, if you can get a slot mid week. I'm sure they're probably flat chat with social/veterans/womens/amputees/rotary/police/etc... groups, but with notice you'd get a game. It's typically in good nic and is <5mins from Tingalpa.

Thanks DC but now that I am booked in on the 27th at Brooky I will have to take a miss on the 28th. Appreciate the offer though.
