I was thinking of the Anser or Anser 2 perci. Everyone seems to have their own version of this model. The Anser/Anser 2 and the Newport/Newport 2 models from Ping and Titleist seem to be their most popular models.

Sorry Perc' the Gemini is not up for trade yet, not until the grooves wear out.

I just looked, it doesnt have grooves (in the centre), so I will have to wait until the face becomes transparent, and that will be hard as its the only dual face driver on the market.

Titleist has four new models of irons coming out. Tour players will be getting their new irons in late November. Those four new models are broken down as follows: a set of blades, a set of blended backs (replacement of 735), a set of cavity backs (replacement of 755) and a set of large head cavity backs (replacement of 775). So, for the public, I'd bet on a spring, 2008 release of these models.

My dad was telling me that Norman has sunk enough into McGregor to be the major shareholder at 35% and is CEO now or something. He wants to take it back to it's roots. I'm guessing that's high quality sort after irons etc.

As much as I love my hacksticks, and will probably play nothing else but, I love the look of a set of sweet blades.

Macgregor have always had great blades, keen to grab a set myself to replace the old Nicklaus Muirfields that are still in the garage.

Yeah the blades/musclebacks have gone back to the old school look, I could swear I was looking at Jack Nicklaus Muirfield blades when I first eyed those irons.

As the Macgregor irons are so cheap I'm thinking of getting a set as a 'backup'

New Titleist ZM irons (I heard these being talked about on the Singapore Open coverage on Friday night). These pics are of Adam Scott's very own irons...

They look pretty sweet but the big numbers on the sole look out of place IMO.
