I was talking to a guy at Golfsmith following up a ball order and I asked them about a 909 D2. I wanted an 11.5 with Xcon 5 and asked if it was available. The guy said it wasn't and when I asked if it could be ordered he said that it had been discontinued.

I should add though that when I said I wanted a 909 D2, he happened to ask me who made them
    Boy knows his stuff!!

Yeah, the FTiz has the triangle look about it. Not as bad as I was expecting though (from the sole shots anyway). Depends what they do with the crown. TM seem to hide it quite well, but you never know with Callaway.

Well now I really have seen everything.

A TV screen in a golf bag seems a bit silly and not to mention rather heavy for caddy.

P.S - Sorry about the extra large image.

I have hit the FT-iz Driver at a demo day, very good looking from address. Triangle shape, very confidence inspiring club and nice feel to it. Hit the FT-iz 3 wood which I particularly liked and will consider buying.

Also hit the FT-Tour which was awesome, strong trajectory and great traditional look at address.. I really want to buy this but its not released till Feb 2010

I grabbed a FT-iz 3 wood ~3 weeks back and love it. Was well worth the $$$ in my case.

Distance wise I found it really strong and being the FT-iz design it's forgiving and straight. I've only hit range balls with it tho. Might take the demo on the course next round.

Agreed, that Burner is possibly the worst looking club ever.

The VR looks nice from address. The sole looks awful.

Now you can buy UST Mamiya grips to go with your shafts:
    http://www.ustmamiya.com/golf_grips/
because “Everyone who buys a golf shaft also needs a grip...” and "...room in the aftermarket for a “premium quality, premium priced” grip specifically designed with creative styles and colors to match today’s most popular shafts." Very metrosexual.
