    Isn't this the story behind the ping moon alignment aide; ping did a test of not just amatuers but also some pro golfers and found that many were in fact off with what they thought was the correct alignment. Hence the big moon thingy.

    So maybe most people get it wrong more than right.

    you may be right, after I wrote this last night I actually thought it (an alignment mark) might matter even less if you are meant to be able to hit these new MOI drivers anywhere on the face ?

    Very Different. I reckon there may be nothing that is similar to the clubs we now have in a few years time. They are really pushing the limits to find the best shape aren't they

    i don't think it matters what shape they come up with.... If you make it < 10deg and put it on the end of a 45inch stick, average punters will still hit them into the trees.
