    Been catching with this guy.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uRex6moyw4

Won tickets to see him many years ago now, and it was an awesome concert at festival hall! I think it was Satriani that once told him he'd never be able to play guitar that way. Oh, and for those that don't know, he's blind!

Also one of my favourite songs. Covered to death of course, but still great.

Edit: and I am shocked to find he died recently. Been fighting cancer most of his life (which took his eye sight as a child) and it got him. Recently had surgery to remove cancerous tissue from both his lungs and his legs, but it got him RIP! Was a stunning stunning muscian and was so full on in concert!

    A Floyd fan eh Gaz.

This is the link to the first of a series. The rest will be easy to find, if you feel you have the time! It's the famous conjunction of The Wizard of Oz and Dark Side of the Moon. My mate showed me this years and years ago. He started the record off at a specific point at the start of the movie, and words etc from the record line up to events in the movie (Dorothy walking on the fence, lyrics mention balancing).

My maths 2 teacher in grade 11 was a huge floyd fan, as is the singer/pianist in my band (went to school with him). So in several of our maths 2 double lessons, we watched 'The Wall', and another he took us to the music room to take us through the nuances of Pink Floyds albums. We also watched Flying High once as well, with out a doubt the greatest spoof movie of all time!
